the first release of the new dutch label pinkman contains four great tracks from drvg cvltvre, formerly known as ra-x. his music is slow, doomy, with broken disco and house elements, focussing on on hypnotic repetition and percussion. most of the music is made with electronic means, but is rooted in an organic, percussive approach.

awesome sounding remastered re-issue of this super-rare underground disco belter from crosstown traffic. originally released in 1979 on tiny philadelphia label d.c. records, this highly collectable 12 inch still gets plenty of playtime today from djs such as dmitri and al kent. on the a-side >party people< slams you hard with funky basslines, furious disco beats, heady 70s synths and a whole load of party lyrics. truly infectious! then grooving sideways into your life is the b sides >love your family<. yet another disco gem, this tune is mellower yet will still have you running to the dancefloor with its first-class bass guitar riff, deeply-disco tambourines and hand-claps. great stuff!

a fan favorite on the full length release, robots & bumblebees is cvos special tribute to the great patrick adams. classic synth sounds with a hot gu groove. the b-side goes way deep with silent pimp, a comprehensive piece of chilled out elements and soulful jazz keys.
